INTACT TEAMS

Intact teams interested in participating in the upcoming Winter season, please submit your request using the link below. 

This is a request only. Space is limited and is subject to field availability. Upon acceptance, Coaches will receive an email with team payment and player registration information. Intact registration will begin after COBA open registration closes.

COACHES MEMBERSHIP

All head coaches and assistant coaches who plan on volunteering this Spring season ONLY will need to sign up for the Babe Ruth Coaches Membership.  Coaches will need to complete the following:

  • Babe Ruth Coaches Cert ($20, never expires)
  • Background Check and APS ($25, 2 years)

REGISTRATION OVERVIEW

During registration, players have the option to request a specific coach.  Final player rosters are at the digression of the requested coach as well as subject to roster space availability by the league.  Please contact the coach prior to registration to eliminate any miscommunication.  Players who do not request a coach are subject to roster availability.  If roster spots are available, players will be assigned to a team through a draft process.  The leagues ability to accommodate interested players is based on the number of volunteers willing to take a team.  COBA is a 100% volunteer organization, we need your help to ensure that all players who want to play have a place to play.  Our volunteer coaches are vital to the community and we encourage everyone to consider volunteering!  Please contact a Board Member or Division Coordinator if interested in coaching.


SEASONS OVERVIEW

COBA holds a regular season four times per year, winter, spring, summer, and fall.  Teams will play a round robin format where a typical season includes 12 scheduled games over a 6 week duration.  Games are held on Saturdays and Sundays with an occasional weekday game.  Team practice start 2-3 weeks prior to the start of the season.  Practice times and days are at the coaches discretion and are also subject to field availability. Typically coaches will hold a team practice twice per weekday in the late afternoon.  All games and practices are held in Mililani.  See field locations for details. 

  • Winter Season: January - March
  • Spring Season: April - June
  • Summer Season: July - August 
  • Fall Season: September - November

COACHING OVERVIEW

Our ability to accommodate all registered players is dependent on the number of coaches in each division, with that said your participation as a volunteer coach is vital to the success of our league.  Team managers and coaches are responsible for contacting parents, setting practice days, and all other team related business.
